OF TRAIN FLOATING FLOOR
Application
Installation of a floating floor in the Coradia diesel multiple
unit (DMU), manufactured by Alstom Transport for First North-western.
Bonding phenolic composite panels to extruded
aluminium framework, forming a revolutionary-floating floor with
in the train interior. This floor compensates for vehicle movement
and withstands heavy human traffic.

No Grinding or Surface Preparation
Plexus Adhesives bond engineered plastics, SMC, FRP, metals, and
dissimilar substrates without grinding, surface preparation, or
primers in most cases. As a result, they eliminate time-consuming
and costly additional procedures, lessen process variability, minimize
dust, and greatly reduce the problems associated with toxic solvents.
Rapid Room Temperature Cure
Plexus Adhesives cure very rapidly at room temperature, eliminating
the need for costly, cumbersome heated clamping fixtures. Plexus
produces exceptionally strong bonds with superior flexibility, impact
strength, with resistance to fuels, chemicals, UV, temperature extremes,
and cyclic loading.
Environmentally Friendly
Plexus Adhesives not only eliminate the need for harsh solvents,
they have virtually no VOCs and can be recycled without cutting
adhesive joints away from parts. They are approved for use by major

Little or No Surface Preparation
Plexus Adhesives can be used without sanding,
