Are there any materials that deserve special consideration prior to bonding with Plexus™ adhesives?
Yes. Nearly anything to be bonded with Plexus adhesives ought to be carefully evaluated beforehand. Though Plexus has been successfully used many times for bonding nylon, polystyrene, polycarbonate, and ABS, care must be taken in correct Plexus product selection because these plastics are prone to crazing and stress-cracking. For these reasons, the ITW Plexus technical service laboratory is available to assist you at all times.
